Precipitation Normal Range
Climate forecasts are usually expressed in probabilities, indicating how likely it is that rainfall over the next three months in a given region is "below the normal range," "in the normal range," or "above the normal range ". The normal range corresponds to the central tercile of the climatic distribution of the seasonal precipitation. So that in each location, the forecast information can be associated with millimeters of precipitation, it is necessary to know, for each season, the upper and lower limits of the normal range (percentiles 33.3 and 66.6). Here you can access to these values for weather stations in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
